Ⅱ Product Features
Sysmyk® Himet (bright silver) is used as a topcoat on fasteners that have an inorganic zinc-aluminum primer, a galvanized base coat, or a Dacromet base coat. Depending on the specific fastener, different application methods can be employed. After coating, the fasteners not only exhibit an excellent bright silver metallic finish but also significantly enhance the corrosion resistance and antioxidant properties of the coating. The compounded nanomaterials further improve the wear resistance of the zinc-aluminum coating.

* Heavy-metal-free, green galvanized

* The cured coating exhibits both flexibility and hardness, and the coating is free from hydrogen embrittlement.

* High hardness, with a hardness rating of 5H or higher, and excellent wear resistance.

* When used in conjunction with an inorganic zinc-aluminum primer, it can withstand neutral salt spray tests for over 800–1,000 hours without causing corrosion of the substrate.

Coating liquid temperature: 15–35°C

Ambient temperature: 10-45°C

Ⅶ Instructions for Use and Precautions

Instructions for use

1. Thoroughly remove any oil, dirt, or dust from the surface of the workpiece (galvanized base screws) using a solvent such as turpentine, ensuring that the surface is completely free of oil, dust, and moisture.

2. Open Sysmyk® Himete (bright silver) and disperse it using an electric mixer for 5–10 minutes.

3. Dipping Operation Instructions

* Use screws with galvanized bases, wrap them with a 60-mesh filter screen, immerse them in Sysmyk® Himeite (bright silver) solution for 10 seconds, then remove and allow any excess solution to drain off before placing them into a centrifuge.

* Centrifugal speed: 260–280 rpm

* Centrifugation time: 10–25 seconds, with two cycles (i.e., one clockwise rotation and one counterclockwise rotation constitute one cycle). During centrifugation, after the first cycle, pay attention to adjusting the screw’s position before proceeding with the second cycle to ensure that the coating can be evenly applied onto the screw.

* Diluent: If the viscosity is too high during use, add Sysmyk® Himete (bright silver) dedicated diluent to adjust the viscosity to 55 ± 2 seconds (ambient temperature: 25°C).

* Diluent addition: approximately 5–20% (by weight)
* Application viscosity: 45-55 s

Precautions

1. Use of Sysmyk® Himet (bright silver) in production areas requires mandatory ventilation.

2. The surface of the workpiece to be processed must be free of dirt and oil contamination.

3. The liquid material must be diluted using the dedicated diluent for Sysmyk® Himet (bright silver).
