    [Product Code] MCP0010

    [Product Features]

MCP0010 is a single-component, long-lasting protective coating developed by Nake New Materials that can be used directly. Based on the principle of monomolecular self-assembly, it rapidly cures and forms a film on glass surfaces at room temperature within just 10 to 20 minutes, immediately exhibiting excellent hydrophobic properties with a water contact angle exceeding 110 degrees. This coating is ideal for treating smooth inorganic surfaces such as glass. Surfaces treated with MCP0010 not only display outstanding hydrophobic performance but also significantly reduce fingerprints caused by finger contact, and the fingerprints are easy to wipe away. With excellent weather resistance, MCP0010 provides protection lasting up to 1–2 years in indoor environments and more than 6 months in outdoor environments.

◼ Cures at room temperature, with a coating hardness reaching 9H.

◼ Excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, resistant to various common household detergents.

◼ Low surface energy, excellent anti-fouling properties, and wear resistance

◼ Possesses excellent hydrophobic and oleophobic properties, is easy to clean, and surface dirt can be effortlessly wiped away.

◼ No longer is there a need for harsh, strong cleaning agents—often, a single damp cloth is sufficient to clean glass.

    [Applicable Materials]

    Various types of glass products

    【Curing Method and Construction Method】

◼ Cures at room temperature; reaches 80% cure within 6–8 hours, and full cure takes 7 days.

◼ Before use, it is recommended to clean the glass surface first and apply the product evenly using a lint-free cloth.

    【Scope of Application】

◼ Hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments, as well as anti-fingerprint and easy-to-clean finishes, for various glass surfaces including automotive windshields, shower enclosure glass, sanitary ware, greenhouses, canopies, skylights, and more.

◼ Hydrophobic and oleophobic treatments on smartphone glass surfaces, as well as anti-fingerprint and easy-to-clean coatings.

    [Technical Parameters]

    [Construction Method]

Step 1: Remove the oxide film from the glass surface—only by using the matching glass oil-film remover MCP0004 can coating success be ensured.

    1. To ensure that MCP0010 forms sufficient chemical bonds with the substrate surface, the surface must be carefully cleaned prior to use to remove any oil films. The degree of bonding between MCP0010 and the substrate directly determines the service life and scratch resistance of the product coating. The surface to be treated should be cleaned and degreased using MCP0004 glass film remover.

    2. Pour the specialized glass film remover onto a scouring pad, apply it to the glass surface to be treated, and rub repeatedly. Then, rinse thoroughly several times with clean water. Next, use a squeegee to remove any remaining moisture from the glass surface, ensuring that the glass surface is clean, dry, free of water, dust, floating particles, and any oily or greasy contaminants. The criteria for determining whether the glass has been thoroughly rinsed are as follows:

A: Rinse the glass surface with water after cleaning. If a uniform water film forms on the glass surface without any localized areas where the water tends to contract, it indicates that the cleaning was thorough. However, if there are localized areas where the water tends to contract, it means the cleaning was not complete and you’ll need to re-clean the surface.

B: If you doodle on a glass surface with an oil-based marker and then easily wipe it clean with water, that’s also considered thoroughly cleaned.

MCP0004 should be used immediately after cleaning.

    Step 2: Surface Application

    1. Wrap a dedicated sponge with a microfiber cloth, thoroughly wet the fiber cloth with the coating, and apply the coating from top to bottom in a crisscross pattern, ensuring even distribution across the substrate surface. After applying the coating evenly, wait 3–5 minutes before using a microfiber towel to wipe away any excess coating from the surface.

    2. To accelerate the drying process, you can use a hair dryer to warm the surface of the substrate for 20–30 minutes; the longer the heating time, the better the effect will be.

    3. If you feel the results are not satisfactory, you can repeat the steps and treat the already processed glass surface again.

The MCP0004 coating has a long-lasting effect and typically lasts for about 1 to 2 years under normal conditions. Even if the coating’s effectiveness diminishes over time, the surface can be re-treated. The procedure for re-treatment is identical to the original application process.

    [Storage]

Recommended storage temperature: 18–25°C; Shelf life: 12 months (unopened), 1 month (opened).

This product is sensitive to moisture, so be sure to protect it from humidity when using it. After use, make sure to close the bottle tightly; otherwise, the product may spoil.
