[Product Features]
Sysmyk® Superhydrophobic and Superoleophobic Nano-Coating (Self-Drying at Room Temperature) is a highly hydrophobic and oleophobic nano-coating featuring a micro-nanostructured surface. It is a two-coat system: first, apply the primer coat, and after it has dried, apply the topcoat. When used in combination, these two coats deliver exceptional hydrophobic and oleophobic performance once fully dry.
Sysmyk® Superhydrophobic and Superoleophobic Nano-Coating (Self-Drying at Room Temperature) is a revolutionary waterproof material that uses nano-hybrid technology to effectively repel both water and oil. It’s a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating capable of protecting surfaces from damage caused by nearly all liquids. Utilizing SURFMORE nano-modification technology, this coating forms an air-based protective film on the substrate surface, which prevents liquids such as water and oil from penetrating and damaging the material. This protective film outperforms conventional technologies, boasting exceptional adhesion and abrasion resistance, making it suitable for applications with specific requirements for wear resistance.
◼ Self-cleaning: Resistant to water and oil contamination, dry and sterile. Simply apply a bit of water or an air flow to remove dust and dirt from the surface.
◼ Anti-pollution: Pollution from dust, dirt, water, and liquids containing bacteria or radiation will be significantly reduced or eliminated.
◼ Corrosion resistance: Since water and moisture in the air do not actually come into contact with the surface, corrosion of the object can be significantly reduced.
◼ Frostproof: The surface of the object is dry and free of moisture, so it won’t freeze.
◼ Moisture-proof: Keeps objects dry; many liquids, including water, are difficult to absorb.
■ Contact angle for water repellency > 150 degrees, contact angle for oil repellency > 150 degrees, rolling angle < 5 degrees
◼ Operating temperature ranges from -30° to 150° Celsius.

[Technical Parameters]
[Construction Method]
◼ Surface Treatment
1. Before spraying, first perform surface treatment on the object to be coated, removing any old paint films, rust, oil stains, oxide scales, and foreign matter from the surface. The surface must be free of rust, oil stains, dust, and water marks.
2. The cleaned surface should be sprayed promptly to prevent recontamination by dust.
3. The construction environment must be dust-free and equipped with ventilation systems or corresponding air-dust removal equipment to ensure construction quality.
4. Spray pressure: 0.138–0.241 MPa; nozzle diameter: 0.5–1.27 mm; spray distance: 15–25 cm; recommended coating film thickness: 10–25 microns.
5. Construction temperature: 10–30 °C, relative humidity: 45%–75%.
◼ Coating
Step 1: Base Coat
1. Thoroughly stir well before use. You can apply the coating using air spraying; it is essential to use an HVLP spray gun (high volume, low pressure—e.g., the German SCHUTZE S941 model).
2. Apply multiple thin and even coats; after drying, the coating thickness will be between 10 and 25 microns.
3. Wait 20–30 minutes. After the primer has dried, proceed with applying the topcoat. You may consider using a heat gun and a hairdryer to speed up the drying of the primer.
Step 2: Surface Coating
1. The surface coating cannot be applied using the same spray gun as the primer. A new spray gun must be selected, and an HVLP gun (high volume, low pressure—e.g., the German SCHUTZE S941 model) must be used for spraying.
2. Apply multiple thin and even coats; after drying, the coating thickness will be between 10 and 25 microns.
3. Apply the same amount to cover the primer coat.
Step 3: Drying/Curing Method
The superhydrophobic performance of the coating will become apparent 30 minutes after spraying the surface coating. The optimal time is after 2 hours.
[Maintenance and Care]
The Sysmyk® superhydrophobic and superoleophobic nano-coating (self-drying at room temperature) must be applied in conjunction with two separate coatings to exhibit both superhydrophobic and superoleophobic properties. Once the coating has fully cured, it can resist mixtures of oil and water as well as pure oil.
◼ Please use low-pressure water spray to clean the surface. Under the gentle flow of low-pressure water, the surface will achieve self-cleaning—dust and dirt will be easily rinsed away, leaving the surface completely dry.
◼ Detergents, soaps, certain special solvents such as xylene, toluene, and acetone, or high-pressure water jets can affect certain properties of the coating surface.
◼ If the surface coating is damaged and loses its superhydrophobic and oleophobic properties, simply re-spray the topcoat CCP0003 to restore these properties.
