Recently, good news has emerged from the 15th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Guangdong–Guangzhou Regional Contest) and the 2026 Guangzhou Science, Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition: Guangzhou Xisenmeike New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.’s “Space Photovoltaic Project” has successfully advanced to the finals of the new materials track in the industry competition.

The preliminary round of this year’s New Materials Track was held on September 15, 2026, at the Knowledge City Base of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area National Technology Innovation Center, under the theme “Innovation in Guangzhou: Shaping the Future with Knowledge, Gathering Materials in the Bay Area.” A total of 55 projects advanced to the next stage, including 37 from the Growth‑Stage Enterprise category and 18 from the Startup category. Following project presentations and a comprehensive evaluation, Hissenmeike’s “Space‑Based Photovoltaic Project” successfully qualified for the finals.
Focusing on space-based photovoltaics, showcasing the power of materials innovation.
At this competition, Li Tuyang, Manager of the Marketing Department at Xisenmeike, represented the company and delivered a project presentation. He engaged in in-depth discussions with the on-site judging panel, covering the project’s background, technical approach, practical value, and future development plans.
The “Space Photovoltaic Project” addresses cutting-edge demands in photovoltaic applications, exploring the further integration of functional nanomaterials with photovoltaic technologies. The space environment imposes stringent requirements on the performance, stability, and long-term reliability of photovoltaic materials, while also opening up new research avenues and application opportunities for advanced materials technologies.
This advancement not only recognizes the project’s innovative approach and growth potential, but also serves as an encouragement for Xisenmeike’s steadfast commitment to R&D and the commercialization of its technological achievements.
Starting from real-world applications, we continuously push the boundaries of technology.
As a national high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, manufacturing, and application of functional nano‑coating materials, Xisenmeike continuously pursues technological innovation across sectors such as photovoltaic renewable energy, architectural curtain walls, and industrial protection, driving the practical implementation of advanced functional technologies—including self‑cleaning, light‑enhancing, anti‑fouling, dust‑repellent and antistatic, and weather‑resistant protective coatings.
From ground‑based photovoltaic power plants to the more cutting‑edge realm of space‑based solar power, what changes is the application environment; what remains constant is Hysimic’s unwavering focus on material performance, practical value, and industrial implementation.
We firmly believe that the value of new materials lies not only in their laboratory‑level performance metrics, but also in their ability to meet real‑world needs, solve practical problems, and stand up to rigorous validation in concrete applications.
Using competitions to drive innovation, advancing steadily toward the finals.
Behind every project’s advancement lies the meticulous preparation of its participants, as well as the concerted support of the R&D, marketing, and related teams. Each pitch and defense serves not only as a comprehensive showcase of the project’s achievements but also as an opportunity for in-depth dialogue and learning with experts and peers.
Advancing to the next round marks a new beginning. Moving forward, the Xisenmeike project team will carefully review the lessons learned from the preliminary round, further refine their project presentation and technical proposal, and make every effort to prepare for the final competition.
Congratulations—keep up the great work!
We look forward to seeing Hysimic’s “Space Solar Power Project” deliver even more robust and innovative results on the finals stage, and achieve further success!
