JimoProduct Model: YCP0087

A hydrophilic, oleophilic, easy-to-clean, and anti-fouling treatment for surfaces of products such as glass and ceramics.

Product Description

Easy-to-clean, long-lasting hydrophilic and oleophilic nano-coating (specifically designed for glass and ceramics)

[Product Code] YCP0087

[Product Features]

The easy-to-clean, long-lasting hydrophilic and oleophilic nano-coating is a special, single-component, long-lasting, easy-to-clean hydrophilic and oleophilic nano-coating that utilizes nanotechnology to form a three-dimensional, stereoscopic network. After curing, this coating consists entirely of inorganic materials, is non-toxic and harmless, and boasts high hardness (9H), hydrophilicity and oleophilicity, as well as excellent anti-fouling performance. It also features easy-clean properties: oil stains and grime on the surface can be effortlessly wiped away once moistened with water—no detergents required. Surfaces such as glass or ceramics treated with this nano-coating can have stubborn oil stains easily removed simply by rinsing with clean water, making daily cleaning for household users quick and convenient, eliminating the hassle of dealing with thick layers of grease and grime. Moreover, this coating enhances the protective, wear-resistant, and anti-fouling properties of glass and ceramics.

Medium-temperature curing, with a coating hardness reaching 9H-10H.

Easy to clean—surface dirt can be easily wiped away.

Excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion

• Resistant to various household detergents

Excellent stain resistance and superior abrasion resistance

• Possesses excellent hydrophilic and lipophilic properties

Can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees.

[Technical Parameters]

[Construction Precautions]

1. Ultrasonic cleaning (using Hysen-Mic cleaning solution) — Rinse with tap water (3 steps) — Rinse with pure water or deionized water (3 steps) — Dry with cold air blow

2. After cleaning, the surface of the workpiece should allow water droplets to spread naturally upon contact, exhibiting a hydrophilic character. This indicates that the cleaning process has been thoroughly completed. The cleaned surface should be promptly coated with a spray (the time from cleaning and drying to spraying should not exceed 30 minutes) to prevent dust from reattaching and causing the surface to become hydrophobic again, which could lead to coating defects.

3. Spray the workpiece and manually inspect it for any spraying defects (primarily those caused by inadequate cleaning). If defects are found, remove the defective workpiece and perform pretreatment again.

4. After the workpiece has been spray-coated, pass it through the baking line. Maintain the furnace temperature at 70℃ (with the actual workpiece temperature around 50℃) and bake for 10 minutes. Then continue passing the workpiece through the baking line, keeping the furnace temperature between 200 and 205℃ (with the actual workpiece temperature around 180℃). The actual temperature profile is monitored using a four-channel furnace temperature tester, and continue baking for another 60 minutes.

5. Remove the workpiece from the line and package it.

6. The construction environment must be dust-free and equipped with ventilation systems or corresponding air-dust removal equipment to ensure construction quality.

7. Spray gun: Choose a Japanese water-based spray gun, model number: Japan Iwata LPH-101. Spray pressure: 0.6–0.8 MPa; spraying distance: 15–25 cm; recommended wet film thickness: 3–5 microns; dry film thickness: 1–2 microns; application temperature: 10–30 °C; relative humidity: 45%–75%.

8. The cleanliness of the spray booth shall be at or below Class 10,000, meaning that the number of dust particles with a particle size ≥ 0.5 μm per cubic foot shall be less than 10,000.

9. The cleanliness of the leveling zone and baking zone shall be within Class 100,000, meaning that the number of particles with a particle size ≥ 0.5 μm per cubic foot shall be less than 100,000.

For more detailed construction documents, please refer to the technical manual.

„   Set up a line inspection node during the spraying process.

Node 1: After the workpiece to be sprayed has undergone pretreatment and been dried by cold air, inspect its surface for residual contaminants such as adhesive residue, water marks, and assess the surface’s hydrophilicity.

Node 2: The workpiece to be coated enters the spray booth for spraying. After spraying is completed, it undergoes a pre-baking process for 10 minutes, followed by inspection to check whether the workpiece surface has any missed spots, particles, or stains.

Node 3: After the workpiece passes through the curing oven, the finished product is removed from the line. The surface appearance and coating performance of the workpiece are then inspected (random sampling).
