Product Description
Sysmyk® Easy-to-Clean, Long-Lasting Hydrophilic and Lipophilic Antimicrobial Nanocoating
Ⅰ Product Code YCP0042
Ⅱ Product Features
YCP0042 is a special single-component, long-lasting, easy-to-clean, hydrophilic nanocoating with antibacterial properties developed by Hissenmec. It is primarily based on modified silicate resin and incorporates the latest nanotechnology. The coating also contains nano-sized silver ions. After curing, this coating consists entirely of inorganic components, is non-toxic and harmless, and boasts exceptionally high hardness (9H), outstanding hydrophilicity and oleophilicity, as well as excellent anti-fouling performance. Additionally, it features easy-clean properties: oil stains and other residues can be effortlessly wiped away once the surface is moistened with water—no cleaning agents required. Stainless steel sinks treated with this nanocoating exhibit remarkable hydrophilic and antibacterial effects, effectively inhibiting the growth and reproduction of various microorganisms harmful to human health. Its antibacterial performance has been certified to meet Japan’s most stringent industrial antibacterial standards. Moreover, this coating enhances the anti-fouling, protective, polishing, and stain-resistant properties of stainless steel sinks and other metal products, making daily cleaning and maintenance simple and convenient for household users. At the same time, this coating also improves the protection, wear resistance, and anti-fouling performance of stainless steel.
* Cures at medium temperature, with a coating hardness reaching 9H-10H.
* Easy to clean—surface dirt can be easily wiped away.
* Excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion
* Resistant to various household detergents
* Excellent stain resistance and superior abrasion resistance
* Possesses excellent hydrophilic and lipophilic properties
* Can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees.
* Possesses antibacterial properties
Ⅲ Applicable Materials
Brushed stainless steel
Ⅳ Curing Method
Heat-curing
V. Scope of Application
1. Easy-to-clean, antibacterial treatment for stainless steel surfaces
2. Hydrophilic and oleophilic surface treatment for easy cleaning on stainless steel surfaces
VI Technical Parameters
VII Construction method
* Pre-construction treatment process
1. Manually scrub the workpiece using an orange-oil-based multi-purpose cleaner (if the workpiece is made of aluminum profiles, be sure to switch to a cleaner specifically designed for aluminum profiles). During the scrubbing process, ensure that every corner and no area is left unattended, thoroughly removing any residual adhesive, dirt, grease, and other contaminants from the surface of the workpiece.
2. Pre-treatment automatic cleaning line: Hot water wash —— Pre-degreasing —— Main degreasing —— Tap water wash 1 —— Tap water wash 2 —— Tap water wash 3 —— Pure water wash 1 —— Pure water wash 2 —— Pure water wash 3
3. Use an air gun to blow most of the water off the workpiece surface, then transfer it to a dehydration oven for drying. The oven temperature should be 150°C. (If possible, use cold air to dry the workpiece surface as much as possible.)
4. After cleaning, the surface of the workpiece should allow water droplets to spread naturally upon contact, exhibiting a hydrophilic surface condition. This indicates that the cleaning process has been thoroughly completed. The cleaned surface should be promptly coated (the optimal time between cleaning and drying and coating should not exceed 30 minutes) to prevent dust from reattaching, which could cause the surface to become hydrophobic again and lead to coating defects.
5. Spray the workpiece and manually inspect it for any spray defects (primarily those caused by inadequate cleaning). If defects are found, remove the defective workpiece and perform pretreatment again.
6. After spraying, pass the workpiece through the baking line. Maintain the oven temperature at 80°C (with the actual workpiece temperature around 50°C), and bake for 10 minutes. Then continue passing the workpiece through the baking line, maintaining the oven temperature at 210°C (with the actual workpiece temperature around 180°C), and continue baking for another 30 to 60 minutes.
7. Remove the workpiece from the line and package it.
8. The construction environment must be dust-free and equipped with ventilation systems or corresponding air-dust removal equipment to ensure construction quality.
* Coating
1. Thoroughly stir well before use, then filter through a 300-mesh sieve and apply using air spraying.
2. Spray gun: Use a water-based spray gun specifically designed for Japanese applications, model number: Iwata LPH-101 from Japan. The spraying pressure should be 0.6–0.8 MPa, and the spraying distance should be 15–25 centimeters. The recommended wet film thickness is 3–5 microns, while the dry film thickness should be 1–2 microns. The recommended application temperature is 10–30°C, and the relative humidity should be between 45% and 75%.
3. The cleanliness of the spray booth shall be at or below Class 10,000, meaning that the number of dust particles with a particle size ≥ 0.5 μm per cubic foot shall be less than 10,000.
4. The cleanliness level of the leveling zone and baking zone shall be within Class 100,000, meaning that the number of particles with a particle size ≥ 0.5 μm per cubic foot shall be less than 100,000.
